Location & Hours

Location: The Potsdam Community Dog Park is located on Potsdam Humane Society land at 17 Madrid Ave., just a few steps from the shelter. The Park is within walking distance from downtown Potsdam, Clarkson University, and SUNY Potsdam. 

The three-acre fenced-in public park will be a beautiful new green space including several walking trails, clean drinking water for dogs, waste receptacles and bag dispensers throughout the park, benches, and separate fenced areas for small dogs, as well as one for shelter dogs to exercise and meet future owners.

Hours of Operation: The Potsdam Community Dog Park is NOW OPEN! (as of 10/1/2017) The Dog Park will be open every day from dawn until dusk, unless closed for maintenance. 

There is no fee to use the park. Donations are appreciated and will go directly towards park improvements and on-going maintenance. Simply click on the DONATE button above to contribute!
